Established in 2018, The Social Connectors have combined with the Queanbeyan Whites Juniors to provide children who have activity limitations and participation restrictions, the opportunity to be part of a Rugby Club and learn through stages, the skills and technique to play Rugby.

Does your child:

  • Have a disability?
  • Have learning difficulties?
  • Struggle in a group or social environment?

The Social Connectors have developed an a new Inclusive Social Program to help children in the Queanbeyan district specifically targeted at individuals who:

  • Find following a group plan challenging;
  • Require extra sensory and communication support;
  • Thrive in highly structured and predictable situations;
  • Find thinking flexibly a challenge.

Partnering the QJRUFC, the Social Connectors endeavours to assist children to become more interactive in every day life.

The Social Connectors runs events, with the assistance of the Whites Juniors, to help benefit the children in our district as some children NEVER get a chance to play a sport for one reason or another; we are going to change that.

  • Step 1: Clinics to build the confidence
  • Step 2: Children to participate in the Rugby Touch 7s
  • Step 3: If the children are willing to play, they can register to play in the 15 a side competition or pathway teams.

The ultimate aim is to have the children interact and be inclusive in sport and everyday life.
