Non Playing Members - Volunteers

What would we do without them!!

  

Parents, community members & extended rugby family are needed to VOLUNTEER for roles within the club. This is essential for training & game days to run smoothly and to create a great fun and successful club atmosphere for our kids. 

Even with no experience everyone is welcome to “have a go”. 

All positions within the club are filled by volunteers. There are no paid positions. This why we continually urge all families to contribute to the club.

  

No one person can do everything, but every person can do something


We all live busy lives, yet we have some amazing Whites members who roll up their sleeves and get involved and get things done around the club. There are a few of our volunteers who currently have crazy volunteer workloads. Most of our members do not realise how many hours of behind the scenes organisational work is involved in running a junior club in our area.

ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES & JOIN THE WHITES.


There are several roles that people can assist with. These include:

 

COMMITTEE:

President

Vice President (Rugby Operations)

Vice President (Club Development)

Secretary

Treasurer

Registrar

Member Support Officer

and other general committee positions.


TEAM MANAGEMENT:

Coaches

Managers

First Aid Personnel


GAME DAY

BBQ & Canteen attendees

Ground Setup & Packup


ALL volunteers must be registered as NON Playing Members. This is to ensure that all Volunteers are covered by the Club Insurances.


Committee Members and Team Management are to have up to date WWVP & WWCC.


Team Management  MUST reach a certain Accreditation to for-fill their rolls.

The Junior Club will cover the costs for each person to obtain their accreditation.
